This is an English summary for convenience. The Korean privacy policy (개인정보처리방침) is the official version and prevails in case of any difference.
Mandleda Soft Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) protects personal information in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea.
1. Purposes of processing
- Project inquiries and estimate consultations: reviewing and answering your inquiry or selected estimate items
- Project requests (Korean board): reviewing requests and verifying the author for viewing or deletion
- Membership and Members Q&A (Korean service): email verification, sign-in, answering member questions
- AI chat: answering visitor questions automatically, checking answer quality and preventing abuse
- Job applications: reviewing résumés and portfolios submitted by email
- Security: preventing abuse and automated submissions, protecting administrator accounts
2. Information we collect
- Project inquiry: name, email and message (required); company and phone (optional)
- Estimate consultation: name, email, selected estimate items and the calculated range (required); company, phone and notes (optional)
- AI chat: questions and AI answers, time of use and a one-way hashed visitor ID (raw IP addresses are not stored)
- Automatically collected: IP address (hashed, kept briefly), access time and a session cookie for staying signed in
We do not collect personal information from children under 14.
3. Retention
- Inquiries and estimate consultations: one year after the inquiry is handled
- AI chat conversations: 30 days, then deleted automatically
- Member information and Members Q&A: until the member leaves, then deleted immediately
- Job applications: one year after the hiring process ends (three years if you agree to join our talent pool)
- Security access records: deleted automatically within 25 hours of the last record
- Where a contract is signed, records are kept for the periods required by Korean law
4. Provision to third parties
We do not provide personal information to third parties except with your consent or where required by law.
5. Service providers and transfers abroad
- Web hosting (Cafe24, Korea): website, databases and stored inquiries
- Email delivery (Plus Five Five, Inc. — Resend, USA): notification emails to our staff when an inquiry arrives, and account emails to members. Contact: [email protected]
- AI services (Anthropic, PBC, USA): generating AI chat answers (your question and up to the last 10 turns of the same conversation are sent). Contact: [email protected]
- Web fonts (Google Fonts, jsDelivr): technical information such as your IP may reach these services when fonts load; we do not collect it
If you do not want your information transferred abroad, you can contact us by phone or email instead of using the forms or AI chat. Please do not enter personal information such as names or phone numbers in the AI chat.
6. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct, delete or stop processing your personal information at any time by contacting the privacy officer below. We will act without delay.
7. Security measures
We limit staff access, require administrator authentication, store passwords with one-way encryption, block direct access to data files and limit sign-in attempts.
8. Cookies and browser storage
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Your theme choice is saved in your browser (localStorage) and AI chat history is kept until you close the tab (sessionStorage); neither is sent to us. A session cookie keeps members and administrators signed in and is deleted when you close the browser.
9. Privacy officer and remedies
For disputes you may also contact the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee (+82-1833-6972, www.kopico.go.kr) or the KISA Privacy Infringement Report Center (118, privacy.kisa.or.kr).
Changes to this policy are announced on this website at least seven days before they take effect.
